Our network
We run and maintain our own server park which is based on solid and well-tested OpenSource technology (Linux). We offer redundant Internet connection and servers with an availability of more than 99.95%. Our main server center is based in Oslo, Norway. We currently have in place 4 independent gigabit fiberoptic Internet connections and are present on the two major international peering points in Norway (NIX1 and NIX2). For global traffic we use Global Crossing and Telia International Carrier, who are amongst the largest providers of global IP traffic.

Company info
Domeneshop AS was established in Oslo, Norway in 1996. In 1998 we launched our international domain registration service under the name Domainnameshop. We have grown steadily over the years, and are today one of Scandinavia's leading domain name registrars and hosting companies. In 2005 our subsidiary Domain Name Shop Ltd was formed in London to better serve the European market. The same year we launched websites in Swedish and Danish, and in 2010 we will extend our services to other European countries.
